I had the honor of teaching a Plus class at WPPI this past week, and did something a bit different. I hired a body painter, and an awsome makeup artist and hairstylist (Lori Lopez from Wild Orchids the Salon) what a blast! Sometimes, we need to just pull out the stops, and play. I was playing "Barbee's" for two days. I had the honor of sharing my program, and the platform with Internationally acclaimed photographer Matthew Jordan Smith. Matthew and I took turns photographing the models. Look for some of his captivating images to be posted soon. Here are a few I shot.

Inspiration in the UK
Hi Folks, I am currently on assignment in the United Kingdom doing educational programs for the MPA. (Master Photographers Association) Yesterday, I had a free day and an incredible photographer named Claire and I spent the day photographing. I must say I've not been this inspired in a while! Through her contacts, we found a terrific model willing to work with us, and a location to die for! Here are some of the images I shot. We carried this very heavy couch a quarter of a mile to the Lama enclosure to photograph our model. Needless to say the Lama's wouldn't cooperate and come within 50 yards of our set up. Oh well. None the less, I am sure you will agree, I still got some things that are pretty nice.
We actually lucked out with the weather as well!
My Dog, my teacher
I would like to introduce you to my dog Cooper. Cooper sure has taught me a great deal about life. First, He has taught me the meaning of friendship. I can step on his foot, (by accident of course) shave him in a humiliating way, and put the most rediculous outfits on him, and no matter what he still worships me. He will eat anything and does not worry one bit about getting fat, or whether his butt will look fat in those pants. He is always ready to play. My goal for 08 is to be a bit more like my dog.. no, not the female beoochee kind, but more loyal, more fiendly, and most of all a bit more relaxed.
The Devil Wears Boda the Movie
Hi folks, at WPPI this past week, I had the opportunity of playing a part in what I hope you will agree was a very funny role. It was a kick working with such greats as Yervant, Matthew Jordan Smith, Joe Photo, and Michelle Celentano.
