Good news! I had the opportunity of sharing in the 8 x 10 competition for WPPI
and came home with 1 first place winner, and three 2nd place winners! The print that won is the photo of the photo of the girl wearing the red dress running down the path.

I thought I would let you know about a really cool charity event that is going to take place on August 4th in San Diego. The first annual Barbecue Smackdown. This event will feature the barbecuing skills of world renouned Barbecuer and celebrity, Skip Cohen of Rangefinder Publishing. (Carey Schumacher) will compete with Skip for the title, to which many of us agree there is no contest. I had the honor of attending the 2008 Microsoft Summit this week. There were some very stimulating photographers featured. Among those, one absolutely wonderful young woman.
